Look Up From Your Phone!

Nowadays people tend to focus more on their social media “life” than on their real life. This situation causes people to stop socializing in person.
From my point of view, in the beginning social media was used by people to enhance their courage to talk to other people. Now, it has become the only “place” where people get to talk to each other. On one hand, I personally don’t blame them, because even though it’s virtual, at least we talk to each other. Besides that, we can literally do anything on the Internet. We can shop, work and get REAL money, we can chat with people, and so on.
On the other hand, I blame people for not communicating properly with each other. Social media takes after real life and it’s somehow nice and comforting to see that we advanced so much in such a short period of time. The problem comes from the fact that people are lazy and they prefer staying in bed and chatting with their friends on Facebook, rather than going out and having a real conversation with them.
This video is a great example of how technology replaces real life and the chances we lose by wasting time on social media.
Just like everything in the world, technology is a great thing as long as you don’t over-use it. Once again, we are blessed with a burden.
